Once upon a time there was a little girl named Angie. She wanted to be a star. She saw herself on stage singing in front of crowds all over the world. She envisioned silky long gowns and tight bell bottomed pants, both topped off with a red boa draped casually about her neck. She saw herself singing out over the crowd, head slightly tilted to the side, wearing a large yellow floppy hat. Where would a five-year old  African-American girl growing up in South Louisiana get such an idea? She had seen Cher singing on t.v. and baaaby, Cher loved a boa baby. So Angie decided she too could rock that look and sing like Cher when she grew up.

As time went on the little girl became a young lady and discovered she loved music but couldn’t carry a note in a bucket. So yeah, that dream never came true.

But, she learned loads of other things about the world and her self. She’s creative, smart and funny – she uses this blog to share things she’s interested in, to tell funny stories and to take you along on her journey to the fabulous life she’s carving out for herself.

Ya’ll ready, come on cher, Laissez les bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!)
